We are proud to support the German Basketball Federation. The Deutscher Basketball Bund will be using XPS Network for all the German national teams including the Men’s World Champions and the Olympic Gold Winning 3×3 Women’s team.

The connection between DBB and Sideline sports has been born shortly before the Olympic Games in Paris. The main target of the German Basketball is to optimise communication and planning within the association and all its teams as well as to set up automations in the area of athlete monitoring.

“XPS will help us to make the next step in athlete management and monitoring. Communication, planning and injury management in one platform is a true game changer,” says Julian Morche, DBB National Athletics Coach. “We hope working with XPS  will provide a huge benefit for all our coaches, performance staff and our athletes.”

XPS Monitoring in the National Teams

“Alongside XPS Calendar used for preparing detailed training plans, the German Women National Team were the first to start tracking the player monitoring with XPS Reports,” says Marc Uhlmann, Sideline Sports County Manager for Germany. “The players enter data such as training load, readiness and the monthly cycle on a daily basis. The XPS Reports give the coaching team a very quick overview of the team’s performance.”

The XPS Health digital medical record will also play a integral part in the DBB work. All the medical data and reports from around dozen national teams will be safely stored in one place, available to the medical, coaching staff and physiotherapists.

In addition to the Elite Men and Women national teams, XPS Network will be used by the U16 – U20 men and women teams as well as the 3×3 teams.
